Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with Rennes over Ismaila Sarr.
The 21-year-old winger starred for Rennes as they beat Arsenal 3-1 in the Europa League last-16 first-leg.
He was a constant threat on the right flank, netting his side’s third goal ahead of tonight’s second-leg.
And after Rennes’ victory, Arsenal fans were demanding the club to snap up the promising talent and it appears they’ve listened.
According to Goal France via Get French Football News, Arsenal have held preliminary talks with Rennes over Sarr.
The Senegal international has been closely monitored by Arsenal with former head of recruitment Sven Mislintat tracking his progress in Ligue 1.
Despite Mislintat’s departure in February, Arsenal remain keen on drafting in the budding attacker.
Sarr has impressed both in France and in the Europa League, bagging 10 goals across all competitions from the right-wing not to mention 11 assists.
